THE STRENGTH BEHIND DEFENDER

Defender utilises D7x aluminium monocoque architecture for exceptional strength. It delivers 29kNm/degree torsional rigidity, making the body structure three times stiffer than traditional body‑on‑frame designs.

ENGINEERED FOR ENDURANCE

Defender engineers pushed the vehicle through more than 62,000 engineering tests. The chassis and body architecture withstand JLR’s Extreme Event Test procedure, surpassing the standards expected of conventional SUVs.
