SUB-SAHARA IN STYLE

BOTSWANA EASTERN TOUR 8 DAY ITINERARY
Arrive at the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and enjoy some free time to get acclimatised to the sights and sounds of your new environment. A sumptuous local dinner will be served alongside the opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow travellers and your vehicle.
Your morning will be spent enjoying one of the largest waterfalls on earth and the opportunity to walk the bridge over the Batoka Gorge. In the Mid-afternoon you will catch your shuttle over the border to Botswana and the Chobe area.
After an early breakfast, head out onto the waters of the Chobe river to see African Elephants, Cape Buffalo, pods of hippo as well as the steely eyes of the Nile Crocodile. This is followed by an afternoon drive traversing rich ecosystems, varied landscapes and an almost unparalleled abundance of wildlife and birds. Tonight, we camp in the wilds of Africa.
Depart to the Savute area, famous for its lions. Unrelenting off-road driving and thick sands will put you and your Land Rover through your paces. By the afternoon, we head south towards the Khwai region, a stunningly wild part of the Okavango Delta and home to our camp for the next two nights.
A choice of activities awaits, including plenty of time to explore the Khwai region’s majestic flora and fauna. From the towering Camel Thorn acacia trees to aromatic wild sage, there is so much to excite the senses.
Head for Moremi Game Reserve for a full day of driving – including the possibility of water crossings, elusive Delta lions and huge elephants. Dinner will be served under the stars at your camp.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and a short drive around the Sankuyo concession before the camp gets packed up and you make your way back to Maun for a little shopping or an afternoon relaxing around the pool. A farewell dinner gives you the chance to reflect on your experience and bid a suitable goodbye to fellow guests.
After breakfast, transfer back to Maun International Airport.
