Land Rover Warranty

Land Rover believes in your peace of mind when it comes to purchasing one of our vehicles – and our warranty on any manufacturing defects during the warranty period is proof of this statement.

All of our vehicles are covered by the Land Rover Warranty for 36 months or 100 000km (whichever occurs first) – regardless of whether or not the ownership of the vehicle changes during this time. Not only will the defect be attended to at no cost to you – but we will attend to it with as little interference in your daily life as possible.

Extended maintenance plans are also available – but be sure to upgrade early in your Land Rover’s lifecycle.

Your Land Rover Warranty and Warranty Period

Your Land Rover warranty is in place when your vehicle is registered or delivered to the first owner (depending on which event occurs first).

Essentially, this vehicle warranty guarantees that any part of the vehicle that fails (as a manufacturing defect) within this warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge. All work will be done by an authorised Land Rover dealer in order to guarantee the workmanship so that your Land Rover can be returned to you as soon as possible, and you can head out on the open road again.

Land Rover Warranty: Wear and Tear Items

There are items that are considered to degrade due to basic “wear and tear”, and any of these items (excluding tyres) that fail prior to their normal service replacement date will be considered for repair or replacement on a pro-rata basis.

These items include:

- Brake Pads
- Brake Discs
- Shock Absorbers
- Clutch Kits
- Wheel Bearings
- Drive Belts
- Panhard Rod Bushes
- Track Rod Bushes
- Tie Rod Ends
- Exhaust Systems
- Wiper Blades

Note:

- Tyres are covered separately by the tyre manufacturer.

- Batteries fitted to imported vehicles are covered for the vehicle warranty period. Batteries fitted to locally manufactured vehicles are covered for 24 Months from date of sale of the vehicle.

Land Rover Approved Body Shops

Looking after your vehicle involves everything from general maintenance and vehicle care to driving safely and responsibly. Another part of looking after your Land Rover – one that you hopefully never have to think of - involves ensuring that only qualified individuals repair your Land Rover if it is ever involved in an accident. Although some insurers may require that the repairs are done elsewhere, we recommend that you use one of the approved body shops.
