Following the success of Land Rover's inaugural expedition programme to Oman in 2008, Land Rover Expeditions (in conjunction with the Ultimate Travel Company) has announced a second adventure program to Morocco, starting in May 2010.

This unique self-driving expedition promises to be the trip of a lifetime tackling some of the world's toughest terrain. Starting from the busy city of Marrakech, the expedition will culminate in crossing the spine of the High Atlas Mountains, at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters above sea level, making the trip a rare opportunity to experience an adventure that only Land Rover can provide.      

Small groups of up to twelve people (two per vehicle) will be guided by a Moroccan guide and will be given specialist off-road tuition by professional Land Rover Experience Instructors whilst on location.       
                                                                                                                   
A fleet of the very latest expedition-ready Discovery 4's will be the vehicles used for the expeditions. The fourth generation of Land Rover's supremely versatile seven-seat vehicle comes with a host of new user-friendly technologies, improved dynamics for both on and off-road driving, a powerful and highly-efficient new 3.0 litre TDV6 diesel engine, premium cabin and class-leading off-road and towing ability.

The seven day trips are scheduled to depart every Sunday throughout May and June at a cost of £3,990 per person (single supplement £425) inclusive of flights from London, accommodation and meals.
