This five-day program began at Lumiere, one of the most intimate and luxurious boutique properties in the mountain area. Guests enjoyed a welcome reception and dinner with a stunning view from the 9,000-foot elevation.
After checking in to the historic Beaumont Hotel, drivers explored off-road routes including the Imogene Trail toward Ouray. The trek continued along spectacular trails through mining ghost towns before departing on the "Million Dollar Highway." The legendary Black Bear Pass then ushered drivers to Telluride Ski Mountain, where they dined above the treeline. After the Adventure, those who chose to stay in Telluride on their own enjoyed a parting gift from Land Rover — VIP credentials to some of the best that the Telluride Film Festival had to offer.
Land Rover Driving Instructors greeted guests at the Grand Junction airport in Colorado ahead of the Moab Adventures. Shortly after arriving, keys to a Range Rover, Range Rover Sport or LR4 were handed over and the four- and five-day versions of this adventure began. From the airport, drivers followed the banks of the Colorado River en route to the Sorrel River Ranch for a welcome reception and dinner.
The following days brought adventurers to daunting rock formations. First, Poison Spider Mesa, where drivers steered themselves up a steep learning curve. Later, Land Rover Driving Instructors taught participants how to conquer near-40-degree slopes of Entrada sandstone at the ultimate “slick rock trail,” Hell's Revenge. At every turn, guests were challenged with beautiful natural formations and guided with expert instruction.
