BLUE RIDGE TO BLUEGRASS ADVENTURE

This weeklong experience took place April 21 - April 28, 2014 at America's largest home, the exquisite Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Guests explored some of Biltmore’s 8,000 acres before dining in the estate’s private wine cellar. After seeing the Smoky Mountains as few ever will, the adventure continued on spectacular parkways toward an evening at Blackberry Farm, named Bon Appetite's “#1 Hotel for Food Lovers” in 2013.

After arriving in Lexington, guests shifted gears for the weekend’s activities at the Rolex Three-Day Horse Event. On Friday they took in the dressage competition from ringside seats in the VIP sponsor tent. Then learned the intricacies of eventing on a course walk with David O'Connor before relaxing at the Land Rover Tailgate Pavilion. On Saturday evening, guests dined and danced with a night of live music at Gainesway Thoroughbred Stallion Farm. Finally, on Sunday they enjoyed premium seats at the jumping competition as guests of Land Rover. After the event, many stayed to explore Lexington at their leisure before Land Rover transported them to the airport in style.

TELLURIDE ADVENTURE

This five-day program began at Lumiere, one of the most intimate and luxurious boutique properties in the mountain area. Guests enjoyed a welcome reception and dinner with a stunning view from the 9,000-foot elevation.

After checking in to the historic Beaumont Hotel, drivers explored off-road routes including the Imogene Trail toward Ouray. The trek continued along spectacular trails through mining ghost towns before departing on the "Million Dollar Highway." The legendary Black Bear Pass then ushered drivers to Telluride Ski Mountain, where they dined above the treeline. After the Adventure, those who chose to stay in Telluride on their own enjoyed a parting gift from Land Rover — VIP credentials to some of the best that the Telluride Film Festival had to offer.
