This strategy covers four key areas that are designed to reduce our impact on the environment, support conservation and humanitarian partnerships and includes one of the world’s most comprehensive CO2 offset programmes.
LRX Concept becomes reality
Land Rover has confirmed that a production version of its exciting LRX concept car will be built and debut next year and join the Range Rover line-up in 2011. The new Range Rover will be the smallest, lightest and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced.

Intelligent Stop/Start system
An intelligent Stop/Start system is now fitted as standard on all diesel manual Freelander models helping to reduce CO2 emissions by over 7% (From 194g/km to 179g/km), using EU combined cycle tests). This is the first application of Land Rovers e_TERRAIN TECHNOLOGIES specifically to reduce CO2 emissions and improve fuel consumption.
