The most athletic, best specified and most refined model yet, the Supercharged leads Range Rover Sport’s line-up. Just as exciting to drive on road as off, its 4.2 litre Supercharged V8 287kW petrol engine delivers massive Torque and effortless acceleration. And the efficient TDV8 and V6 diesel engines, both built in a wind-powered factory, perform to exceptional standards in every department.

V8 Diesel
Max Power: 200kW @ 4,400rpm
Max Torque: 640Nm (472 lb ft)
Fuel Consumption: 25.5mpg

The powerfully efficient TDV8 engine has outstanding power to hand. It’s lightweight, economical and adapted to meet the demands of sports tourer driving. Fuel consumption is impressively low for its performance, making this our most exciting diesel to date.
Supercharged V8 engine
Max Power: 287kW @ 5,750rpm
Max Torque: 550Nm (410 lb ft)

The incredibly powerful supercharged V8 delivers performance comparable to a V10 or V12 but is more economical and compact. Its confident braking is aided by Brembo® performance front brakes with 4-piston callipers.
V6 diesel
Max Power: 140kW @ 4,000rpm
Max Torque: 440Nm (325 lb ft)

The V6 diesel engine is technically advanced, offering enhanced levels of refinement and fuel economy (even the emissions produced in its assembly are meticulously offset with the help of Climate Care offset projects around the world). Turbocharged to improve low-speed Torque and high-rev power, it’s superb for smooth, refined cruising.
Six-speed automatic transmission
The ZF six-speed intelligent shift automatic gearbox delivers power and Torque equally to all four wheels for a smoother ride. It adapts to your driving style and the conditions. And it features a sports transmission mode, where the shift delay on the downshift is reduced for a faster response on the Range Rover Sport Supercharged and TDV8. In all instances, CommandShift® technology allows you to get involved and change gears manually.
Speed-proportional variable ratio steering
The best steering feel is always at your fingertips, regardless of the conditions. ZF Servotronic steering incorporates speed-sensitivity to provide agile steering for easier manoeuvrability at low speed and greater feedback and stability at higher speeds.
