Key to LR3´s strength, safety and outstanding on-road and off-road dynamics is the Integrated Body-frame™. A Land Rover patented technology, it delivers more comfort, refinement and on-road attributes than a monocoque design, and sets new standards for off-road performance.

• Electronic Brake Assist (EBA) - supplying extra brake pressure in an emergency
• Electronic Traction Control (ETC) - helping maintain optimum grip
• Optional Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) - warning you of low tyre pressure

Up to eight airbags are fitted: the front seats have both front and side airbags, with each seat row having its own curtain airbags.

We´ve integrated the body and chassis to form a construction that is much stronger and stiffer than a conventional chassis. This in turn enables safer, more precise handling and ensures LR3 can pass the most stringent crash safety tests.

The higher perspective of the Land Rover Command driving position gives you the advantage of spotting hazards – such as motorway queues – well ahead of time. You´ll also be able to park with confidence thanks to your improved view of all four corners of the vehicle.

These systems work with the braking system to correct cornering (over or understeer) and to help maintain stability at all times.

These optional, powerful Bi-xenon lamps can move left, right, up or down in reaction to the vehicle´s speed, pitch and steering angle. This ability can be used to counteract the effects of hard braking, for instance, or when turning into bends so that the road surface and any hazards are properly illuminated.

A comprehensive array of anti-theft measures incorporates:

• Engine management system immobiliser
• Perimetric detection system to alert attempts to open the boot, bonnet or any of the doors
• Deadlocks to inhibit interior door handles once the vehicle has been locked
