Terrain Response®, standard on derivatives with Air suspension, allows you to take on every surface with confidence. A turn of the dial reconfigures the engine, transmission, suspension and Traction settings for optimum driveability in all conditions: tarmac, deep ruts, grass, snow, mud, and sand.

Long-travel, all-independent suspension allows extreme wheel articulation:

• Ruts and rocks are conquered with ease
• Optional four-corner cross-linked Air suspension provides class-leading car-like ride and handling on and off-road
• Constant, level ride height is achieved irrespective of the load
• Ride height can also be raised by up to 125mm to clear tricky obstacles, or lowered by 50mm for easy access and loading.

LR3´s advanced 6-speed automatic gearbox features adaptive mapping, giving it an ´intelligent´ capability to adapt itself to your driving approach. Standard with petrol engines, this gearbox also features CommandShift™ which gives the driver full manual control of gear selection when required. A smooth shifting 6-speed manual gearbox is also available with the TDV6 diesel engine.
