Jaguar Land Rover showcased its most exciting line-up ever at the Dubai International Motor Show which took place between 10th - 14th November 2011 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Highlights included the Middle Eastern reveal of the Land Rover DC-100 Middle Eastern concept, created especially to suit the desert terrain of the region, and the spectacular Jaguar C-X75 concept. The two concept vehicles were showcased alongside the latest 12MY line-up of vehicles for Jaguar and Land Rover including: the Jaguar XF and XJ, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, LR4 and LR2.

In addition, the stand also showcased the eye-catching XKR-S, Jaguar’s fastest production vehicle to date and the long anticipated Ranger Rover Evoque, designed to bring the exclusivity of Range Rover to a brand new audience.

"This is the biggest and strongest Jaguar Land Rover line-up that we’ve seen in the Middle East for several years. With two exciting concept vehicles on display, the DC100 and the C-X75, together with a host of upgrades on our 12 model year products, there was something for all car enthusiasts across the Middle East to enjoy," commented Robin Colgan, Regional Managing Director Jaguar Land Rover MENAP.

For more than six decades, Land Rover has been designing and building 4x4s that define capability, versatility and usability. Like no other vehicle, the Land Rover Defender inspires affection and loyalty the world over. It is the original reconfigurable vehicle, inspiring people to go beyond whether they are explorers, ecologists, UN aid workers or Red Crescent medics. From just two principal platforms, Defenders have, over the years, been put to every task and reconfigured in every way, from fire engines to tracked exploration vehicles.

Commenting on the Land Rover DC100 concept car, Gerry McGovern, Director of Design, Land Rover said: "Replacing the iconic Defender is one of the biggest challenges in the automotive design world; it is a car that inspires people worldwide. This isn't a production-ready concept but the beginning of a four-year journey to design a relevant Defender for the 21st century."

John Edwards, Global Brand Director, Land Rover added: "Loved the world over for its simple, honest and distinctive design, we are determined that the new Defender will be true to its heritage, while meeting the requirements of a changing global market."
