Land Rover’s dune bashing event
in Doha – a raving success.
Alfardan Premier Motors Co., the exclusive importer of Land Rover in Qatar, organised its exquisite annual Land Rover Ride & Drive Desert Event on 20 April, 2012. The event hosted an array of exciting activities for customers, prospects, friends and families. The attendees were treated to a thrilling show carried out by Land Rover’s top-of-the-line off-roaders who took on the sand dunes by storm. They also had the exhilarating opportunity to experience first-hand the high performance of Land Rover’s all terrain fleet of 4x4s.
According to Mr. Hussein Adra, Marketing Manager of Al Fardan Premier Motors Co., “We organise this event every year in order to ensure our customers’ satisfaction by engaging them in a full day of exciting events. This year’s Land Rover Ride & Drive Desert Event was a great success, after all it’s a time for us to thank our customers and fans for their strong loyalty to their top-performing Land Rovers as much as it is a time for us all to go out and enjoy some outdoor activities under Qatar’s glistening sun.”
The trip kicked-off with a short introductory course for the attendees on how to navigate safely through the breathtaking deserts and seaside shores of Qatar. The guests then went on a desert ride through Qatar’s spectacular sand dunes during which they were guided across the sandy terrain.
Attendees got the chance to experience a full day of enthralling events organised for families and children at a campsite in Khor Al-Udaid. A delicious barbeque lunch was served to all the guests, followed by activities for children, sports and games along the seashore, while DJs blasted the day away with their uplifting tunes.
