Land Rover, the official vehicle sponsor of the Dubai World Cup for the sixth year running, was proud to play host to this year’s hotly anticipated Style Stakes, presenting the lucky winner with a brand new 2010 Range Rover Sport for a year.
The Style Stakes, a must for any self-respecting UAE fashionista, took place on the Land Rover stand in the new Meydan Racecourse on the evening of Saturday, 27th March. Despite tough competition, the first prize eventually went to Abu Dhabi resident Christy Wong, who wore a beautiful grey shift dress with a stunning matching hat adorned with feathers. Ms Wong was presented with her fantastic prize by Des Thurlby, Director, Human Resources, Jaguar Land Rover, who had flown in from the UK especially for the event.
“Land Rover has always been synonymous with style, performance and premium luxury, so the decision to support this year’s Style Stakes was an easy one” said Hannah Naji, Marketing Director Jaguar Land Rover MENA. “Despite tough competition on the day, Christy Wong’s stylish outfit won over the judges and we are delighted to provide her with a Range Rover Sport as the top prize.”
In addition to sponsoring the Style Stakes at the 2010 Dubai World Cup, Land Rover provided a fleet of 40 Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports for VIPs from the all-new 2010 line-up.
