The all-V8 engine line-up includes a twin turbo V8 diesel engine over twice as powerful as the 6-cylinder diesel it replaced, yet with the same fuel economy. Even the emissions produced in its assembly are meticulously offset via projects selected around the world with the help of leading offset provider Climate Care.

Produced in a wind-powered factory, the TDV8 Range Rover offers effortless V8 cruising at just 25.5mpg – 30% more efficient than its predecessor. Twin variable nozzle, electronically-controlled turbochargers help deliver enormous low speed power, ideal for towing or low speed off-road operation. Compressed graphite iron makes it strong, light and quiet. Engine noise is reduced and contained; the interior is a sanctuary from the turbulent world outside.
6-speed automatic transmission
Now a 6-speed automatic with CommandShift™, the Supercharged 4.2 litre 396bhp V8 adapts to your driving style and the conditions to deliver a consistently smooth response. This in turn is enhanced by its seamless changes and exceptionally high Torque.
Brembo® braking system
Effortless control and consummate power are the hallmarks of an advanced braking system. Brembo® front brake discs provide The Range Rover Supercharged and TDV8 derivatives with superb power of response for a confident, assured drive.
Electronic park brake
The electronic park brake replaces the conventional handbrake lever, uncluttering the centre console area. Engaged by a simple pull of a switch, it can be released manually or simply by driving away – particularly welcome on difficult hill starts.
