Exterior

Defender´s design architecture lends itself perfectly to versatility. It is available in a variety of body styles including Station Wagon, Hard Top, Pick Up, Double Cab Pick Up and the new Utility Station Wagon option, and three different wheelbases (90, 110 and 130) depending on body style.

Interior

The New 2007 Defender has gone through the biggest changes to the interior in its entire history, making the vehicle more usable than ever. The all-new facia gives a more contemporary feel to Defender´s cabin while also improving quality and ergonomics.  A new instrument pack with LED illumination provides clear concise information to the driver. The facia also houses a new high-output heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system. Defender´s audio system has also been upgraded to include optional high mounted tweeters and an auxiliary/MP3 audio input socket. And thanks to its varied body styles and wheelbases, Defender has the optimum seating and load flexibility for every day use.

Driving technology

Defender is the world´s most versatile off-road vehicle, capable of traversing extremes of terrain and surviving the most hostile environments. Its robust suspension allows extreme wheel articulation, enabling it to cross rocks and deep ruts with equal ease. Surefooted and unstoppable, it´s become a byword for tough, four-wheel drive dependability.

Engines and Driving Quality

The new 2.4 litre common-rail diesel engine gives New 2007 Defender greater drivability and refinement.  While the six speed manual transmission features a wide spread of gear ratios, with the lower first gear offering a reduction in crawl speed and improved pull-away to make off-roading and towing even easier. Making Defender now even better than ever.
