With improved fuel efficiency the 3.0 litre LR-TDV6 is now available in the Range Rover, offering effortless performance and a maximum torque of 600Nm. Outstanding power and responsiveness throughout the rev range is delivered by parallel sequential turbocharging. The intelligent Stop/Start system automatically shuts off the engine in milliseconds, helping to ensure carbon-friendly credentials when the engine is switched off and emissions of 196g/km.

There is excellent interior stowage space with more generous door bins, a large twin glove box as well as a large armrest box. There is also the latest climate control system.

A completely new climate control system has been developed for the Range Rover. Tested in punishing real-world conditions with temps from +50 to -40 deg C, optimum luxury and cooling performance has been achieved.

Four-zone system has independent heating and cooling capability in the rear compartment, with temperature setting for all 4 occupants; rear seats have outlets at face level, foot level, and at hip level.

As one of the Driver Assistance Technologies, providing improved visibility when reversing, the Rear View Camera is a valuable parking aid and offers help when hitching a trailer. Static lines representing the vehicles outer perimeter and predicted path are superimposed on the rearward image, to make parking in tight spots as easy as possible.

INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND ENTERTAINMENT

The design evolution of the Range Rover incorporates a simplified, more accessible layout of control systems for enhanced intuitive functionality. There are two screens, both of the highest resolution and clarity. One in front of the driver for main instruments, and one Touch-screen with Dual View for Infotainment and secondary functions.Premium sound systems by Meridian*, exclusive to Range Rover vehicles, ensure perfectly optimised sound quality.
