Driver Skills; Off-Road
Level1 - Foundation
A full-day practical course introducing the core off-road skills and techniques you need to tackle the majority of obstacles you could encounter off-road. With the emphasis on safe, sure progress this course gives you a great foundation for your off-road skills.
Level 2 - Intermediate
This full-day course is designed to help you make efficient progress off-road. With the emphasis on time behind the wheel, this course builds on the basic Level 1 skills and introduces more advanced techniques designed for efficient progress off the beaten track.
Level 3 -Observer
This specialist course is designed for experienced off-road drivers who are supervising untrained drivers. The course introduces some of the skills and awareness needed to help others stay safe while driving on difficult terrain.

Vehicle Recovery
*Vehicle Recovery
Recover stranded vehicles safely and cost-effectively. Our one-day Level 1 Vehicle Recovery course covers the principles of on-road and off-road vehicle recovery. Learn many rope and strap techniques for both self-recovery and third party vehicle recovery.
Our Level 2 Advanced Vehicle Recovery course provides extensive hands-on experience of more advanced recovery techniques. These include invaluable Kinetic Energy Rope, plus the use of air jacks and high lift jacks to extricate more severely stranded vehicles.

Adverse Weather
*Adverse Weather
Many fleet operators only use 4x4 vehicles to help maintain on-road operations in adverse weather. The AWLT course uses the off-road facilities at Land Rover Experience Centres to simulate on-road situations that might prove impassable in severe winter weather or floods. Essential for businesses whose drivers do not require off-road skills, but who do need to maintain safe, effective operations all year round.

Specialist Skills; GPS Navigation

GPS can be essential when travelling off the beaten track. Course designed for experienced 4x4 users who need to use hand-held GPS units to help access remote locations. Includes classroom work developing and programming routes, with a vehicle-based off-road navigation challenge to test new found skills.
