DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

The new 2010 Range Rover offers sublime handling and comfort courtesy of a new enhanced version of Land Rover's unique Terrain Response® system. The benchmark for off-road vehicle systems, Terrain Response® uses a fingertip control dial on the centre console to choose settings for different driving environments.

Terrain Response®, working alongside the new Adaptive Dynamics suspension system, allows you to experience total comfort and control over any surface, as the engine, transmission, suspension and Traction settings are all reconfigured for optimum performance. Sand Launch control provides a further enhancement to give optimum Traction when driving in sand.

For further ease of use, Terrain Response® is grouped in a convenient cluster on the console with the Air suspension height control, Hill Descent Control (HDC) with Gradient Release Control (GRC) and the high/low gear ratio selector. Together these give you confidence over even the toughest terrain.
