Land Rover Motability
New Motability Hire Purchase Rates
If you would prefer to buy your own Land Rover vehicle you may be interested in the Motability Hire Purchase (HP) Scheme. HP may suit you if:
• you want to own a car and use your mobility allowance to pay for it
• you require costly adaptations
• you plan to cover high mileage in your car
If you choose HP, you negotiate the price of the car with your Land Rover Motability participating dealer. HP finance for new and used cars can be taken over 3, 4 or 5 years. If you plan to buy a used car it must be less than 3 years old and have driven less than 45,000 miles (unless you are buying your current Motability car). The maximum age of a car at the end of a HP agreement can be no more than 7 years old i.e. if the car you plan to buy is 3 years old, the maximum finance you can apply for is 4 years.
Only the cash price of the car and the warranty may be financed with the Motability Hire Purchase Scheme.
Please note: If you choose to buy a car with a HP agreement, it is normally expected that you will be receiving the allowance for the full length of the agreement.
