New Discovery 4's two-piece, asymmetric tailgate deftly handles difficult loads. Both the upper and lower tailgate are made from tough lightweight aluminium with the lower section supporting the weight of two adults when the vehicle is stationary. It also works as a seat with the upper tailgate providing a canopy. Fully open, the tailgate gives impressive access and really proves its worth when loading large, bulky or heavy objects.
