A combination of steep slopes, low friction surfaces, water and other obstacles are precisely positioned to emphasise the superb grip, traction and angular abilities of the vehicles.

Our demonstration allows you to experience the magnificent capability of Land Rover vehicles, at hands of our very own Instructor. It’s an ideal experience for those who prefer to be driven by an Expert.

Land Rover's production facility in Halewood, not only hosts our Land Rover Experience centre but is also the birthplace of the striking new Range Rover Evoque. The award winning facility is not just a factory but a showcase of modern Land Rover.

Tour and demonstration* 

The tour starts in stamping operations then on to body construction, where you will see high-tech robots weld panels together. In trim and final assembly, you will follow painted vehicle shells around the production line. On the final line you will see how powertrains are attached to each vehicle before they are driven off the line for final quality checks. This package includes a two hour factory tour followed by an off-road demonstration in a Land Rover product.

Tour and drive*

Once you've seen how they're put together, you'll want to put the Range Rover Evoque and other Land Rover vehicles to the test on our off-road track. The spectacular course is entirely man-made and purpose-built to showcase the dramatic capability of each vehicle. It uses a combination of steep slopes, low friction surfaces and other obstacles to emphasise the superb grip and traction abilities of each vehicle.

*Several tours run daily and include an insight into both Jaguar and Land Rover production facilities and an off-road demonstration in a high specification Land Rover. Please get in touch for further information on tour timings and availability. All participants must be over the age of 10.

Land Rover Experience Halewood is also the perfect location for events and can host up to 150 people. The venue includes a suite of conference rooms and a large state-of-the-art presentation theatre. Plus it's just five minutes from a whole host of hotels. A collection service can be arranged from John Lennon Airport. On arrival you'll be greeted by our in-house catering service for refreshments.
