Supporting grassroots rugby is important to Land Rover; it's a demonstration of our commitment to providing support to help stimulate sustainable growth and success of top-flight rugby in the future. Land Rover continues to make a key contribution to the ongoing development of community rugby nationwide by supplying a Land Rover Discovery to each Premiership Rugby club's community department. We're also enormously proud of our involvement with the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup and the Premiership Rugby Academy.
Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup
Each season, over 7,000 children take part in the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, a series of festivals that are run in conjunction with the 12 Premiership Rugby Clubs across the country.
This tournament aims to inspire youngsters in the sport giving them the opportunity to meet their rugby heroes. Since its inception in 2008, more than 40,000 children have taken part.
The tournament is open to under 11 and under 12 rugby teams and each Premiership Rugby club plays host to a rugby festival. Professional players from the Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs attend the regional festivals, presenting trophies and signing autographs. The age group winners from each of the regional festivals are crowned regional Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup champions and celebrate their success by taking part in a 'Parade of Champions' during half time in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final in front of 82,000 fans at Twickenham.

Premiership Rugby Academy
The Premiership Rugby Academy is the only official camp provider to the Premiership Rugby Clubs and is now the largest provider of rugby camps in the UK. All twelve clubs have joined together to provide young players from grass roots clubs with the opportunity to learn from professional coaches and current Premiership Rugby stars. The involvement of the players and professional coaches provides young players with a unique opportunity to find out what it takes to reach the top level of the game.
The Premiership Rugby Academy is open to boys and girls of all abilities aged between 7 and 18 and camps range from one day courses to five day residential camps. Players such as Dylan Hartley, Schalk Brits, Andrew Sheridan, Nick Evans, Joe Simpson, Matt Banahan & Courtney Lawes and a host of other Premiership Rugby stars have all been on hand to coach and pass on tips to young players attending the camps.
There are over 200 courses countrywide throughout the year and in 2011 over 180 professional players attended camps to answer questions and pass on expert advice to the young players of the future.
