The sophisticated, fully adaptable high tech transmission actually responds to driving style and driving conditions by reconfiguring shift patterns, as appropriate, for optimum driveability in all situations. This means better response and smoother more efficient gear changes as well as improving economy.
Fitted across the range, four corner air suspension helps ensure the vehicle is optimised for a responsive ride, handling, and balance. Combined with steering that's nimble at slow speeds and more weighted at high speeds, there's a greater feeling of control and stability.
Like every Range Rover Sport, Autobiography Sport possesses a highly rigid body with a low centre of gravity and energy-absorbing crumple zones. It offers impressive levels of safety and occupant protection. Dynamic Stability Control monitors wheel speed and steering angle to help make cornering safer and more stable. Roll Stability Control operates progressively to help reduce the likelihood of the onset of a rollover situation. And of course ABS, in the form of four channel, all terrain anti-lock braking, is fitted. While for added peace of mind there is a total of six airbags, including side curtains. Autobiography Sport also features Land Rover’s legendary command driving position, which gives better visibility of the road ahead for earlier recognition of hazards and helps during manoeuvring and parking.
Autobiography Sport offers intuitive, easy-to-use access to Infotainment. A full-colour Touch-screen in the new redesigned centre console controls all audio, communication, and navigation functions. The 5 inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT)-LCD screen technology of the instrument panel adds to the premium character of the interior while improving the feedback and display of driver information. There is also a harman/kardon® Logic 7® audio system with 17 speakers, active subwoofer and 825W DSP amplifier. Harman Kardon® and LOGIC7® are registered trademarks of Harman International Industries, Incorporated.
Autobiography Sport can be tailored to even more individual tastes and practical needs with a number of option packs that are available across the model range. These options and packs make compelling additions to the vehicle's already impressive performance, design, and finish.

Fuel consumption figures: The results given here do not express or imply any guarantee of the fuel consumption of any particular vehicle with which this information may be supplied. Vehicles are not individually tested and there are inevitable differences between individual vehicles of the same model. The vehicle may also incorporate particular modifications.Furthermore, the driver’s style and road traffic conditions, as well as the extent to which the vehicle has been driven and the standard of maintenance, will affect its fuel consumption. We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously with an integrated and innovative strategy we call Our Planet. Our plan is simple; to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and the production of man-made CO2 emissions, to use fewer resources and create less waste.
We do this by investing in four key areas areas designed to reduce our carbon footprint, support conservation and humanitarian collaborations and includes one of the world’s most comprehensive CO2 offset programmes.
CO2 Offsetting
Investing in renewable energy, technology change and energy efficiency projects. As well as offsetting CO2 emissions from the manufacturing assembly of Range Rover and Land Rover vehicles, our programme means customers can also offset the first 45,000 miles of driving their new Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles.
e_TERRAIN TECHNOLOGIES
A joint £800m investment into new technologies designed to reduce CO2 emissions and improve fuel consumption. We are targeting a 25 percent reduction in joint fleet average tailpipe CO2 emissions by 2015, as part of our carbon management plan. Range Rover Evoque has been accredited to ISO14040, a whole life assessment that measures the vehicles environmental impact from manufacturing to use.
Sustainable Manufacturing
World class manufacturing facilities, certified to ISO14001 since 1998. As a company we are targeting a 25 percent reduction in operating CO2 emissions by 2012, 25 percent in waste to landfill and 10 percent in water consumption, based off 2007 levels. Our initiatives include factory energy efficiencies, cutting transport miles and offsetting all CO2 emissions from manufacturing assembly process.
Conservation and Humanitarian Projects
Land Rover is proud to work in close co-operation with five leading conservation partners and actively supports numerous projects around the world.
