These advanced, heated mirrors are power-folding to avoid damage when parking in confined spaces and 'auto dipping' in reverse gear. Downward lighting ‘puddle’ lamps project an illuminated Range Rover graphic on the ground, to light your way.

The mirrors are also equipped with a memory function. Once you set your ideal seating and mirror positions, it automatically recalls your preferred driving position settings.

Six-speed Manual Transmission with intelligent Stop/Start

Choose the powerful and refined 2.2-litre turbo-diesel with manual transmission and you’ll benefit from the intelligent Stop/Start function. This works by automatically switching off the engine whilst stationary, which can reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 8 percent.

The manual gear lever is tactile and beautifully crafted with a noble-plated top and Oxford leather and stitching.

Push Button Start

For your convenience and for a quick, easy departure, this starts the engine, without the key being docked in the vehicle.

Hill Start Assist

Hill Start Assist is an enhancement to Range Rover’s unique Terrain Response® system. They work together seamlessly to make hill starts safe and effortless. The system holds the car on inclines long enough for the driver's foot to move from brake pedal to accelerator, without the car rolling backwards and without needing to engage the handbrake.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

EPAS (Electric Power Assisted Steering)

The meticulously tuned EPAS (Electric Power Assisted Steering) system delivers accurate, consistent steering and agile cornering. Power assistance is speed-sensitive so the steering is light and responsive at lower speeds and firmer at higher speeds.
Compared to conventional power steering systems, EPAS is much more responsive and energy-efficient. It can also reduce your CO2 emissions by 3 percent and will help reduce your fuel consumption.

Electronic Park Brake

Located on the centre console, the Electronic Park Brake is easily engaged. It can be released manually or simply by driving away.

Electronic Traction Control (ETC)

Helps to optimise traction by controlling wheel spin. The ETC system reduces torque to the spinning wheel, and then applies braking if further control is required.

Roll Stability Control (RSC)

This uses a sophisticated roll-over prevention system to detect the onset of a roll-over. The system applies brakes to the outer wheels to widen the turn radius and help prevent the roll.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

If the system detects that the driver is losing control, DSC intervenes to maintain stability. It works by reducing torque and/or applying braking to selected wheels to counter understeer or oversteer and regain control and traction.

This useful latest generation, advanced automated technology appears for the first time on a Range Rover. Helping the driver to parallel park in tight parking spots (as little as 1.2 times the length of the vehicle), Range Rover Evoque uses ultrasonic sensors to steer while the driver operates the pedals. Real time information is also displayed on the Driver Information Display to aid the driver through each stage of the manoeuvre.

8 inch high resolution Touch-screen

Elegant ‘3D type’ screen graphics give you an intuitive interface that lets you control driver information, communication and entertainment functions. Hard keys on either side of the display provide short cuts to commonly used screens, such as Home, Audio/Video, Navigation and Phone.

The showpiece of the centre console is the high-resolution command and display system. The 8 inch Touch-screen features the optional advanced Dual View technology, allowing the driver, for example, to use the Satellite Navigation system, while the front seat passenger can watch TV or a DVD.

Only available with premium navigation system. Not available with rear camera. Must be ordered with Surround Camera System for Prestige and Dynamic derivatives.

Audio Connectivity System

The system is designed to make it easy to connect your personal devices – including iPods® and other portable MP3 players or memory sticks – with a choice of direct iPod® connections, USB socket and auxiliary input. Between the two major instrument dials, a full 5 inch colour driver information display (TFT) provides key information, including temperature, fuel levels, gear position, Terrain Response® mode, hill descent status and cruise control. Range Rover has partnered with Meridian, a world leader in audio technologies and digital sound processing, to develop advanced audio systems for Range Rover Evoque. All audio options in Range Rover Evoque have benefited from meticulous attention to detail, to achieve the highest possible sound quality, with particular emphasis on placing the speakers in optimum positions within the car.

The sound architecture of the 380 Watt system features 11 speakers including subwoofer with exceptional clarity and dynamics. Power ratings are at a practically audio distortion free level of 0.2% THD + N (Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise).

HDD Premium navigation system, includes hard disk drive audio server (10 CD/DVD storage and play)

Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Navigation provides premium navigation, Traffic Message Channel (TMC), where available, information and mapping using the full colour 8 inch Touch-screen. You can enter a destination either by address, full postcode or by Points of Interest. The system delivers faster operating speed and greater data storage than CD/DVD-based systems and supports map updates via your dealer's electronic service systems.

The system also allows you to store up to 10 uncompressed music or data CDs on the hard drive.

Rear Seat Entertainment

Range Rover Evoque’s Rear Seat Entertainment System has the ability to play high quality DVD Video and route it through the 8-inch screens located in the back of the front headrests as well as to the front seat passenger’s display on the Touch-screen. The system comes with a Touch-screen remote control, which allows intuitive and user friendly operation. Two wireless digital headphones featuring WhiteFire® technology provide high quality sound and clarity to occupants using the Rear Seat Entertainment System.

‘Say What You See’ (SWYS) intuitive Voice Control (Linked to HDD Premium Navigation System)

Unlike conventional voice control systems, Range Rover’s advanced ‘Say What You See’ system learns intuitively from your past behaviour. So it can give you helpful prompts in the instrument cluster display of the commands you’re most likely to use next. The system can be ‘trained’ to recognise the accents of regular users and controls a full range of functions including: navigation, radio/satellite, radio/DAB, iPod®/USB/Auxiliary connections, CD and virtual CD multiplayer, Display and Notepad.
