Land Rover vehicles have become an integral part of The Horse Trials since 2005 when we became title sponsor and the event became known as the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.
 
Since then, we have added attractions such as a vehicle display in the heart of the showground, feature fences on the course and a hospitality pavilion right at the centre of activities. There will also be an off-road demonstration area, where you can see the latest models put through their paces.

During the cross country event, you’ll see the fence judges setting off in their Land Rover fleet, while we’ve also supplied vehicles for the medical teams who need dependable access to all areas.

Meanwhile, you’ll have the opportunity to find out more about the latest models from the 2012 range.

Land Rover has underpinned its long-standing commitment to the Royal Windsor Horse Show by signing a new four-year principal sponsorship deal, starting with this year’s show on the 12th to 16th May.

The company is title sponsor of four jumping classes, two Showing Championships and, of course, the famous Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix – which regularly attracts up to 80 competitors from 18 countries to contest events such as Carriage Driving and Four-in-Hand.

As official vehicle supplier for the Show, Land Rover also provides a fleet to transport show officials, hospitality guests and competitors throughout the week of events..

On each evening, Land Rover will also be supporting the spectacular Royal Tattoo at Windsor Castle, in the same area of the Home Park. This year’s Tattoo sees the return of The Royal Navy Field Gun Race and Land Rover will be providing a prestigious trophy for the two teams to contest.

This renowned event takes place at Gatcombe Park – the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family.

As always, the Festival incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships. Along with a weekend of top class eventing, you’ll find a great shopping village, a host of arena attractions and entertainment attractions for all the family.

And if you have a true spirit of adventure, you can take part in a gravity-defying drive in a Land Rover by a specialist instructor negotiating treacherous side slopes and a hair-raising descent.
