Satellite Navigation
Let your Land Rover Navigation system remove the stresses of modern day travel by guiding you step by step to your destination or by helping you to avoid traffic incidents. The optional DVD satellite navigation system has an easy-to-use menu for quick, efficient operation. It makes finding a destination or the nearest filling station simple and straightforward. The system guides you to your destination using a combination of voice guidance, map display and text instructions to tell you where you are, where you are going and how to get there. The system displays the distance to the end of your journey and continually calculates your time to arrival.

The Freelander 2 can be Bluetooth enabled as an option on some models. So if your compatible mobile phone includes Bluetooth technology, you´ll be able to make and take calls via the vehicle´s audio system. You may also want to download a list of approved phones and pairing guide.
Audio Systems
There is an outstanding choice of three in-car entertainment systems including a premium Dolby ProLogic II 7.1 surround sound system with 14 speakers and MP3 file compatibility.  An auxiliary MP3 audio socket for the connection of an MP3 player, iPod, or other source is fitted as standard in the centre console on every Freelander 2.  Rear seat headphone sockets are also available, allowing rear seat passengers to listen to a different audio source to that of the front seat occupants, while the option of DAB digital radio will be available from Autumn 2007. To further widen the entertainment possibilities, a Land Rover accessory roof mounted DVD system is available – ask your dealer for details.
