Introduction to the Range Rover
The Range Rover is Land Rover´s most complete luxury 4x4 and the flagship of the Land Rover range. The commanding silhouette has a stature and presence which is unequalled and design elements for the latest vehicle include new bumpers, grille, Bi-xenon Adaptive headlights and power vents. Inside the supremely-refined interior you´ll find improved ergonomics, stowage and climate control, enhanced safety systems and a wealth of driving features to make every journey an experience to be savoured.
Satellite Navigation System
Naturally, with your Range Rover´s satellite navigation, you can forget about road maps or pulling over to check your route. Instead, the system will guide you visibly and/or audibly, taking in points of interest such as petrol stations or restaurants along the way. There´s a Traffic Message Channel for the latest travel updates, and you can access previous routes at the touch of a button. There´s also a choice of languages, local area views, zoom level and even map orientation, and you can enter destinations by address, postcode or point of interest.

Telephone System
The Range Rover makes hands-free phoning easy. You can dial numbers using the touch-screen keypad or via your phonebook, and you can operate the phone by touch screen or voice control. There are also steering wheel controls for the most important functions. If you have Bluetooth™, you need to pair it with your car´s phone system first, and can then use it with your vehicle´s phone system, making, receiving or rejecting calls as you wish. But even if your phone isn´t Bluetooth™ enabled, most models can be connected to the car´s system via the docking cradle.
Audio System
In the Range Rover you´ll always enjoy the best sound quality, whether listening to the AM/FM radio, CDs, MP3s or your personal stereo. It´s easy to find and store your favourite radio stations, and there´s a 6 CD auto-changer. Voice control lets you make the most of your audio system while on the move in complete safety. There is also a hybrid TV and other media functions, all controllable with the intuitive touch screen system or via the mode button.
Rear Seat Entertainment
Now your rear seat passengers, particularly the younger ones, need never complain about boredom again. The Rear Seat Entertainment system means they can listen to or watch what they want, independent of each other, and without disturbing the driver (who retains ultimate supervisory control). Passengers can watch DVDs, and the system also accepts video signals from connected external A/V sources, such as a personal audio or video player, or a camcorder. The DVD player in the luggage area stores and plays up to six standard DVDs, video CDs and audio CDs, with everything fully controllable from within the vehicle.
Home Link
If you use a remote control to open your garage door or driveway gates, you can use the Land Rover Home Universal Transmitter to replace the handheld remote for extra convenience. It can also replace the remote controls for your home and office lighting and security systems. The transmitter is built into the back of your Range Rover´s rear view mirror, and is easily programmable.
Fuel Guard
If you have a diesel model, accidentally filling it with petrol is an easy but costly mistake. To help prevent this, your Range Rover has been fitted with a Misfuelling Prevention Device. This physically prevents you from putting in the wrong fuel, as a shut-off flap automatically snaps into place if you insert a petrol pump nozzle. It then just takes a few seconds to re-set the flap using the special yellow tool in your toolkit.
The Bi-xenon Headlight System ensures effortless night-time driving with powerful Bi-xenon beams that provide a whiter light and exceptional illumination. An additional cornering lamp emits light at low speed when the indicator is switched on, illuminating the area about to be turned into, particularly useful when turning into a dark driveway from a well-lit road. The Vogue SE is fitted with adaptive Bi-xenon lights. As the vehicle´s steering direction and pitch change, so the headlights move – left, right, up or down – always pointing in the precise direction the driver wants to go.
Side Power Vents
Standard on The Range Rover Supercharged, side power vents are dramatically enhanced with a Platinum finish mesh and Brunel surround to further improve airflow. TDV8 vehicles have been updated from a 2-vent to 3-vent configuration, which retain the sophisticated Brunel finish.
Distinctive Grille
A light and contemporary finish distinguishes the updated three-bar grille. On The Range Rover Supercharged, a Platinum finish grille with a unique vented diamond mesh design allows for greater air-intake, maximising performance and capability of the Supercharged 4.2 litre 396bhp V8 engine.
