GPS navigation: 1 day
Effective, reliable off-road navigation is crucial when you drive off the beaten track. LRE's Level 1 GPS Navigation course equips delegates with the skills needed to up-load and down-load data to hand held Garmin GPS units. Delegates then practise their skills, driving and navigating vehicles over the extensive grounds of the Eastnor Castle estate.

First Aid: 1 day
Accidents can happen, and when they do the right first aid treatment can be a matter of life and death. LRE offer a one-day Appointed Persons First Aid course; based on the Red Cross syllabus this course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of common first aid techniques and how to apply these; where practical the course is tailored to cover specific risks associated with our customer's operations. The course fee includes a copy of the both the delegate pack and approved course first aid book for each student, though it should be noted that this course does not qualify delegates to be an approved workplace first aider (in line with the Health and Safety Executive's guidelines for this extended qualification).

Designed to exceed the HSE's requirements for training workplace first-aiders (not only good practice but a legal obligation for many UK businesses), our course balances a more detailed understanding of common first aid techniques with substantial hands-on training.
