LAND ROVER RECEIVES ACCOLADES FROM 2ND ANNUAL CANADIAN RESIDUAL VALUE AWARDS

BRAMALEA, ON, Feb. 11, 2010 – ALG recently announced its second annual Canadian Residual Value Awards for which the Land Rover Range Rover Sport (Premium SUV), Land Rover LR2 (Near Luxury Utility Vehicle) are recognized as segment leaders. 

The awards are honoring the vehicles in each segment that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional retail lease.

"We are thrilled to achieve this award from ALG's Canadian Residual Value Awards for the second year in a row," said Gary Moyer, president, Jaguar Land Rover Canada.  "Land Rovers are distinguished by their style and performance, and of course, value and it is an honour to have our vehicles stand out in these awards."

The awards are based on 2010 model year vehicles. ALG also has included awards for the brands that have the highest overall predicted resale values among all mainstream and all luxury vehicles. The awards are derived after carefully studying segment competition, historical vehicle performance and industry trends, and are based on analysis using only Canada-specific data.
