The Only Way to Drive
In the world of the truly glamorous, there is only one vehicle worth considering when it comes to making one's way from the celebrity hairstylist to the red carpet, and that's the Range Rover. Featuring V8 power, superior all-terrain ability, (who knows when you might have to head off-road to avoid the tiresome paparazzi?) and a new ergonomically enhanced interior, the 2007 Range Rover represents the absolute pinnacle of performance, capability and, of course, luxury.
The new interior, with its familiar masterful design and famous command driving position, has been described as "quietly opulent." Ergonomics have been enhanced with an offset gear selector and electronic parking brake, plus 366 cubic inches of extra stowage space, including twin glove boxes. Then there's the larger capacity
air-conditioning with additional center face vents to improve performance and reduce fan noise.
Technology is cutting-edge, as you'd expect. For the first time, Terrain Response is standard on The Range Rover. Using a fingertip control on the center console, you can choose any one of five settings for different driving conditions. This automatically adjusts settings for engine, transmission, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), air suspension, traction control, electronic differentials, and Hill Descent Control, so the most difficult conditions can be overcome effortlessly with the click of a dial.
The latest safety and comfort technology includes electronic peltier units that cool or heat air pumped through the front seats, a sophisticated anti-whiplash system, and side-impact protection built into the seats. On the outside, an innovative Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) casts light according to speed and direction, while parking sensors and a rear camera make parking easy.
The entertainment system includes a remarkable 14-speaker, 710-watt LOGIC7 sound system to bring world-class audiophile quality to passengers wherever they are seated in the vehicle. Rear-seat entertainment options include a six-DVD changer, twin screens, and wireless headphones, plus the capability to connect to other audio devices such as an iPod.
