Ugandan Stoves
This film expresses Land Rover´s concern and commitment to their integrated CO2 offset program. Installing 20,000 efficient, locally-sourced stoves throughout Uganda every year, reduces charcoal by 30%, and decreases the rate of deforestation and carbon monoxide pollution.

Consequently, living conditions for women and children are improved and a sustainable local environment is created. This is just one effective project within Land Rover´s worldwide portfolio.
A World To Serve
This film shows Land Rover´s involvement Globally and the relevance of Land Rover vehicles to the modern world, supporting social, environmental and humanitarian needs.  These incredible causes are enabled by Land Rover vehicles, from Tsunami relief in Asia to the Rally to Read in South Africa; and from emergency services and mountain rescue in European countries to archaeology in Australia.
Responsible Manufacturing
This film presents Land Rover´s commitment to sustainable development.

The fact is that all Land Rover´s are built in the U.K.  It is important to know that since 2001, the energy used per vehicle manufactured has been reduced by almost 30% and this achievement is allied to major savings in waste, water and emissions.

Most important of all, in the UK´s largest automotive manufacturing initiative, 100% of manufacturing CO2 emissions are now carbon offset.
Off-road Code
Land Rover takes an active role in instructing drivers about environmentally responsible off-roading. Our off-road code offers travelers helpful guidelines, such as:
·   Being aware of different traveling regulations in different countries, and always seeking permission to cross private lands
·   Sticking to existing routes
·   Driving carefully to minimize erosion and damage
·   Driving "as slow as possible and as fast as necessary"
·   Engaging the difflock, if available, on low-traction surfaces to minimize wheel spin and road damage
·   Proceeding slowly around animals, or switching off engine and waiting for them to pass
·   Fully preparing your vehicle for the journey with appropriate tools and supplies
·   Using eco-friendly cleaning materials, washing vehicles away from water sources—not in them—and taking all litter back with you
·   Respecting the peace and tranquility of others
·   Doing a safety check when preparing to go back on the road, and driving slowly to minimize road-debris damage to other vehicles

Sustainability
For 60 years, Land Rover vehicles have taken environmentalists, conservationists, explorers and scientists around the world. As the significance of climate change has become more apparent, Land Rover has built on our global environmental heritage by focusing our efforts in four key areas: Environmental Technology, Sustainable Manufacturing, CO2 Offsetting, Conservation and Humanitarian Projects.
